Hockey Player in the making!

Cam was so excited about going to watch Tyler's game today he wanted to put his gear on! I vetoed the skates since they are sharp and we havent gotten guards yet for them. He agreed on the condition I get some guards for him today!

A day in duck camp

Even though Cam and I couldnt be there for opening at duck camp, we were able to go out for the day before. We flew in with a friend and fished for pike, went for a boat ride, had a picnic...we saw swans, frogs, grasshoppers, a hawk, some loons and a few...very few...ducks! It was a great day!

Cam is a big boy now!!!

I am so proud of Cameron, we told him when he turned three he would have to give up his bottle and his bo-bo (pacifier). The bottle he gave up cold turkey just before he turned three but we were chicken to push the bo-bo issue. Until today that is! Today after "nap" time---he doesnt sleep but yet that is what we call this little sanity saver! He came down stairs and we made a sign that said bo-bo's for babies...then he took the bo-bo's we could find and placed them in the mailbox for the mail man to take them to the babies that didnt have a bo-bo! He asked a couple of times when it was time for bed but smiled when I answered and said ok. He constantly amazes me!
