Sunday at Chena Lakes

We had a picnic lunch at Chena Lakes. It was in the mid to high eighties and everyone enjoyed themselves immensly! There was football throwing, frisbee, sandcastles, slides and swimming! Not to mention a huge amount of food! Here is Cam getting ready for lunch...

fishing and picnics--a great summer day

we went to Chena Hot Springs then found a spot for a picnic by the river....
It was a great spot for throwing rocks, wading, and even some fishing. We saw three moose and a ton of people! No fish were caught but we had a great time!

We got back home and did a little yard work then relaxed in the hammock it was nearly 90 again today...I was very surprised that we never got thunder and lightning last night. Maybe we will tonight.
